What is “Runtime Broker” and why?


I’m new to OIM and often look at error logs for OIM and connectors (including product connectors) based on the timestamp of a task. Now I consider it a waste of time.

How do I fix runtime issues?

To the best of my knowledge, I can use the response code mapping at each task level to distinguish between issues, but for connector errors, we should only see “Connector Exception”.

Is there a better way to display errors in these cases?

Sub-question: There are gaps caused by connecting to a target where you executeAll tasks are accepted. Where should I always enter the response code in this case?

How do you fix a runtime broker?

Type regedit in the search field and press Enter.
Follow the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TimeBroker.
On the right side of Lite, click Start and normally change the data value from 3 to 4.
Now reboot your system.

Update the program to a new version.
Completely uninstall the program, then reinstall it.
Install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package.
Use SFC scannow to repair dangerous Windows files.
